Designing Complex Visual Stories
An integral part of our process at Visual Soldiers is to be highly knowledgable on the brand’s business. Travertine Tech chose us as a partner that understands the complex nature of the proprietary phosphate technology that they build, and help tell that story visually in their respective market. In full support of their mission toward a better, greener future, we slipped on our imaginary lab coats and learned as much as we could about how Travertine is changing the industry– at a molecular level.
With our design process and a wide array of tech & tools, we built 3D illustrations and renderings of both organic compounds and industrial equipment that would fit the polished, refined brand aesthetic that Travertine Tech sought. Our goal was to convey the depth of complexity behind the tech while distilling it into digestible visual components that Travertine Tech could repurpose throughout all of their brand collateral needs.

Built for ADA Compliance
The Travertine Technologies website was built to meet WCAG accessibility standards, ensuring every visitor can easily navigate and engage with content. Everything from type scale, color contrast, and image overlays are considered for passing legibility standards. Accessible controls like play/pause buttons on anything animated or moving, carousel controls for screen-readers to recognize carousels or tab-able content, and more. By designing for accessibility and diverse user needs, we helped Travertine expand their reach, strengthen brand trust, and deliver a digital experience that works for everyone.
Built for SEO Power
To allow the Travertine Tech brand and business to start growing their digital footprint, we built a robust blog platform that enables SEO-rich content to flow, and academic research to be shared broadly. Our use of flexible modular page templates allow their team of thought-leaders to easily transfer their white-papers and research into SEO-building, shareable web landing pages.
Built for Interactivity
Travertine Tech has more than one audience to consider in the information architecture of their website. Their digital home base is visited by a mixture of professionals perusing for high-level market value, and geo-engineers & industry-titans looking for the science-backed facts that prove that Travertine Tech is a clear disruptor. To account for both of these experiences, we focused on optional interactivity in content modules that support both skimming & deep-diving.
To express the breadth of knowledge behind the Travertine Tech brand, we developed some more complex, interactive module builds that allow users to move controls that show Travertine Tech’s novel approach on an outdated industrial process. Interactive map modules also allow users to explore the reach and expanse of Travertine Tech’s expertise and network.
Travertine Tech had specific goals for how they wanted their process presented, so we leveraged complexity where they needed it– and simplicity where they wanted it.
Perfect Pitch
As a newer company on the scene, it was important for Travertine Tech to have an extensive pitch deck template that could serve them in a variety of rooms – from internal meetings and trade shows, to capital raising and employee training. With a clean website in the works, we shifted our attention to the brand collateral, to arm Travertine Tech with “perfect pitch” materials – designed to mirror the nuance and refinement of their new website, and built for any and every presenting occasion.
Visual Soldiers did a fantastic job on our new website and templates. They were able to get up to speed on a complicated company and process, and produced very professional work.
